On October 10th 2008, Horse Country hosted the European Working Equitation Championship at the race fields of its Equestrian Centre. Teams from Italy, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and Great Britain were protagonists of the senior competition; even two Austrian riders participated. Belgium, Italy and Great Britain have deployed three participants for the junior section.
